Yes, it was a beautiful piece of free software. Adobe no longer makes the Adobe eBook Reader, of course, which is the real reason they bought up Glassbook. Snuff out the competition by acquisition, a key management technique in the software business. Adobe has incorporated the eBook Reader features into the latest version of Adobe Reader, which isn't as elegant as Glassbook but still gets the job done in the web's most compatible format. | |
