Introduction - Peace in the 21st Century!

Kill Ugly Television!

July 4, 2005

Oh, my god! I can't believe I wrote all this babble about TV and movies!

For those of you who came here unaware, the virtual book that you are currently attempting to read but still can't hold in your sweaty hands is a collection of rants and raves written for the weekly genre page at eXoNews, a web site dedicated to The News Outside The News.

They are republished here for the sake of pop history and arranged more or less chronologically starting with February 2002 and ending in May 2005. Most photos that accompanied the original eXoNews web pages have been removed to protect the guilty. (The picture on this page is Frank Zappa, babies, not me. I met him once and we have similar mustaches, but Frank is dead now.)

I want to praise any of you who were suckers enough to download the original three volumes of Peeping Tubes in the 21st Century and have come back for more. You are truly brave. You are also now truly up to date. This probably final release of Peeping Tubes in the 21st Century contains the first three and the probably fourth and final volume.

There is only so much you can write about TV without wasting your time.

You are also truly cheap, as this eBook is free! So if you truly like what you read here, go buy my hardcopy fantasy and science fiction books at http://books.richlabonte.net . (There are more freebies there too, cheapskate!)

You will find button links to eXoNews throughout this volume. If you click on one of these while you are signed onto the web, you will be magically transported to http://exonews.com where you can read more stuff about your favorite TV shows and thousands of exo-stories that you may never see anywhere else.  The links will work if you are perusing this file in Adobe Reader or whatever Adobe comes up with next to sell you on their PDF (portable document format) process.

There are links to related other websites scattered among the articles, but they may not be current. Too bad they couldn't last, but, as that guy with the cane in Blade Runner said, nothing does. Or was that  no one does?

2005 is not a peaceful year. No matter where you are in the world, you can help change that. If you need free peace stuff, try http://peace.richlabonte.net . Make it happen!
